Dedication: Jim Beal 1942 - 1999
Husband. Father. Friend. "You're Special by Jack Beal, age 4, and Katharine Beal, age 2 with encouragement and guidance from Julie Beal Written for Father's Day, June 18, 2000 We love Dad His name is Jim. He liked tools and fixing stuff. Race cars were special to him.
In the military, my Dad was a policeman. He liked jets with torpedoes under the wing. He blasted cannons and could shoot his gun. Living in Germany was his favorite thing.
We spent time at Home Depot, The museum, the park and the zoo. We played water tag in the summer; Ate macaroni and cheese - and candy corn, too!
We cuddled in the "Thinking Chair" To read stories or watch T.V. We sang and danced to lots of songs- Our best was "Get Over It" on the Eagles CD!
To Jack he'd say, "You're my best guy!" To Katharine, "You're a doll!" Dad was patient and proud and had a big heart! He loved us most of all! |
